Parent Staff Association

Welcome to the Parent Staff Association web pages.  As parents of students attending the school you are automatically members of the PSA.  We have one object – to enhance the education of the students. We do this by:

1. Raising funds for school projects outside the normal school budget.
2. Organising social functions and supporting school activities as required in order to develop the relationship between parents and school.
3. Providing a forum for consultation between the Head Teacher and parents.
4. Engaging in activities which support the school.

During each year we run a number of functions/events in order to raise funds for various projects. Last year £8,000 was divided between the various departments to provide additional resources to aid teaching and learning and improve the students’ environment.

How does this all happen you may ask? Most of us on the PSA Committee are in full or part-time employment, so the organisation of events is split among us with the support of many additional parents and staff helpers. Organisation of the annual Car Show has its own sub committee which meets monthly. We meet as a full committee about every six weeks and support each other at the events, subject to availability.
